A Sunny Day with the Diana Mini

Take your toy cameras out on a sunny day for the best results!

In my experience, toy cameras don't really do well in the dark even if you do have a flash to go with it. Some pictures look overexposed and washed out. Nothing like the colourful pictures that I want.

This is especially true whenever I'm using my Diana Mini.

The Diana Mini only has limited apertures. They don't differ much, trust me. You can use Bulb mode to get more light into your film but it usually ends up super blurry because you're shaking while holding the shutter down.

At the time I didn't have a tripod and I was tired of getting dull, dark underexposed photos. So I decided to take my Diana Mini out on a sunny day like you see below.

I don't remember what film I used but I really love the blue in these pictures. It even has a sort of ombre effect which is super pretty. ^^
